CapnoView Terms of Service and Privacy Police
1. Introduction
Welcome to CapnoView. We take the protection of your privacy and sensitive health information very seriously. This policy explains how CapnoView (“the App”) accesses, collects, and handles your data.
Core Privacy Guarantee: CapnoView is designed to be a local-first application. We do not collect, upload to our servers, or sell your personal health information. All data processed by the App stays under your direct control.
2. Access and Collection of Sensitive Health Data
CapnoView interacts with medical device data (such as respiratory monitoring or capnography data) to provide real-time visualization and tracking.
- Data Access: The App accesses physiological data transmitted via Bluetooth from paired medical monitors.
- Data Collection: We do not collect or store your health data on any external servers. All data received is stored locally on your mobile device.
- Purpose: Data is accessed solely to provide real-time monitoring, historical data storage, and report generation within the App interface.
3. Device Permissions
To provide its core medical data functions, CapnoView requires specific permissions. You may manage these permissions at any time through your device system settings.

| Location / GPS | Required by mobile operating systems to scan for and connect to Bluetooth devices. We do not track your actual physical coordinates. |

| Camera / Photos | Used only if you choose to record video sessions of medical device data or save screenshots to your gallery. |
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
- No Automated Sharing: CapnoView does not automatically share, sell, or disclose your health data to Richard (the developer) or any third-party advertisers.
- User-Initiated Sharing: If you choose to share reports or videos via third-party platforms (such as Email, WeChat, QQ, etc.), that data is subject to the privacy policies of those specific platforms. CapnoView does not monitor or store these shared transmissions.
5. Ownership and Legal
- Ownership: The ownership, operation, and management rights of the App belong to the developer, Richard.
- Interpretation: The final right to interpret this agreement belongs to Richard.
- Revocation: By turning off the permissions listed in Chapter 3, you revoke the App’s access to that data, which may result in the cessation of specific features or services.
