The Duke and Duchess accused highly aggressive paparazzi of relentlessly pursuing them at times driving sidewalks in an incident lasting more than two hours. Law enforcement sources tell CBSN after leaving the event around 10PM, the couple did not want the paparazzi to know where they were staying, so they circled Midtown for more than an hour with NYPD squad cars providing crowd control. Police say while H and M were not in danger, two uniform officers could have been injured during the incident. At one point, the couple jumped into the back of S.S’s yellow cab outside the 19th Precinct, but he only drove them around for about ten to fifteen minutes. The couple finally arrived at the police station where they were able to switch cars and get home safely.
